Convergence, The Handweavers Guild of America’s national conference, will be held this year at the Knoxville Convention Center n TN. On Sunday, July 17th, I will be teaching a day long class on “Spinning Short Fibers”.

Most of the class will be spent on learning how to spin cotton, but how to spin silk noil, camel and dog heir will      also be covered.

Convergence, the Handweavers Guild of America’s Conference, is just around the corner. This year it is at the Knoxville Convention Center in TN. On Sunday, July 17th, I will be teaching a day long class on “Spinning Short Fibers” Most of the time will be spent with learning how to spin cotton, but silk noil, camel and dog hair fibers will also be spun.

It took me 151 hours to do this commission.

This is a little thicker than I usually spin, but beautiful white yarn!

I will have some of my handspun, knit dog hair hats this weekend at West End Art Festival. I will be at booth 7.
